Human Chess Game
A CIMBA MBA student experienced this amazing event (called the 'scacchi' in italian) that occurs every two years in Marostica, Italy, which is about 50 kilometers from Paderno del Grappa.
Starting in the 1500s, this chess tournament began as a friendly duel between two princes to win the heart of the Lord's daughter.
With real horses and people playing in the game, it is no wonder that the event is still going on today. It is celebrated just as it was back then and brings people from all of the world to gather and enjoy this momentous event.
