South Africa's best chess player is a few tournaments away from officially claiming the internationally acclaimed title of Chess Grand Master.
Kenny Solomon has already won three Grand Master Norms and needs to increase his average rating by 50 points to make history. Solomon has not had any formal training and says he attributes his achievements to his determination and his strong character.
