The Modern Defence-Move by Move(Everyman 2013)

Another nice book by IM Lakdawala. I just finished reading it. The book covers a repetoire for

• 1.e4
• 1.d4
• 1.c4

I was surprised to learn Kasparov uses the Modern move order against 1.c4. Overall this is another fine book from Lakawala. I previously used his book 1...d6 Move-by-Move as preparation sucessfully.

The book is suitable for anyone up to FIDE 2000 and is written in an engaging and entertaining style.
