Veteran GM Balashov was one of the players in the featured quiz position. He was one of Karpov's trainers in his World Championship matches. Here is a bit more on Balashov.

My tactical play has been suffering lately so I invested in this book.
The positions are divided by difficulty but not by theme making it good for training. Overall, a nice effort by GM Balogh-see his website too.

I checked the game from the beginning and found some interesting points.
